Resources for Chorale Members
Note: The website is currently undergoing some reorganization which means both this "new (simple) part" as well as the original "old part" are available. I'll try to keep this page updated with current information for all chorale members while we figure out how the two parts can be merged.
Now Rehearsing: Mendelssohn's Elijah
Rehearsals begin Monday, January 9 at 7:30pm.
Cyberbass is a free service that provides midi-based practice tracks for hundreds of choral and solo works. With Cyberbass you can hear and sing your part while listening to the others and the accompaniment. Practice your Elijah part!
Here are youtube videos of the Pyungan Church Choir performing the entire oratorio:

Other Important Information
- Paul Karaitis has been our regular tenor soloist for many years, and has often donated his time and talent. He has suffered from a drop in his income and is facing eviction. He has set up a website for anyone who would like to donate to catch up on his back rent. This is completely voluntary, and Lynn did speak to Paul to confirm that this is legitimate. Please check out opraguy.chipin.com/preventing-eviction for more information.
- About 2 years ago Barry Wong took some professional photos of the choir, and has them for sale at his website. He will be taking this down soon so order pictures if you are interested.
- Want on (or off) of the chorale email list? You can log into the members-only portion of the website to change your status or email Ellen Webber.
